Steps to follow when transplanting a tree
• First, water the tree that is going to be placed in a new location.
• Tie the tree’s crown.
• Wrap the roots in a tarp.
Transfer the tree with the wrapped roots as quickly as possible. Ideally, the process should not take any longer than the period of time during which the wrapped roots have the ability to supply the lifted and carried plant with its needed nutrients.
Unwrap the roots and place them in a hole that has been prepared for them. Cover each exposed root with ground. Be careful not to pack the ground too tightly. Water the tree again, once ground covers each root. Understand that no plant should receive water while the sun is high.
